Yarn Study…….

When stored in large quantities, in enclosed spaces, the Pheromones, (in
the yarn,) cause memory loss and induce the nesting syndrome, (similar to
the one squirrels have, before the onset of winter, i.e. the storing of
food,) therefore, perpetuating their species and not having a population
loss due to their kind being cut into pieces and mixed with others.

Sound tests have also revealed, that these yarns, emit a very high-
pitched sound, heard only by a select few, a breed of women known as
“loomers.” When played backwards on an LP, the sounds are heard as
chants, buy me, loom me, and wind me into a ball “.

In order to overcome the so called “feeding frenzy effect,” that these
yarns cause, one must wear a face mask when entering a storage facility
and use ear plugs, to avoid being pulled into their grip.

(One must laugh, however, at the sight of customers in a yarn store, with
WW2 army gas masks and headphones!) . Studies have also indicated, that
aliens have inhabited the earth, helping to spread the effects, that
these yarns have on the human population. They are called “YARN STORE
CLERKS”.

It’s also been experienced, that these same Pheromones, cause a
pathological need, to hide these yarn purchases, when taken home (or at
least blend them into the existing stash.) When asked by a significant
other if the yarn is new, the reply is, “I’ve had it for
awhile.”

My sons team lost their first football game, but they played hard! It was a very good game even though it poured down rain for all but 15 minutes so needless to say we were soaked!! I never gave rain a thought, when we left the sunny skies of home. I will make sure we have it next time just in case. He has another game tomorrow, but I don’t think I will be traveling the 2 1/2 hours to get there. I went to the first game and that is the “most important” in my eyes.

I received my package from the hand dyed yarn swap, the colors are Yummy!! I will start knitting the sock pattern which is also very cool when life gets back in order for me.
I have court on the 20th of Sept and that should be interesting. I will be glad when it is over, maybe all the “threats” will end. My children come first and Brian and I both go with out to make sure the kids have what they need. My son has his first football game tonight and you can be 100% certain I will be in the stands cheering him on!!! I am very proud of my children! This is a photo I took during his scrimmage last week.
We had a great last weekend. We visited my parents, the kids were at their dads so it was just Brian and I. He went fishing and caught “REAL” fish, you know the ones that fight and are big enough to keep. He is used to catching little fishes, that we always have to throw back!!!
For some reason I don’t think fishing for pan fish is going to be very exciting for him anymore….Will some one please shut him up!!! While the guys were fishing, I hung out with mom at the Wild Blueberry Festival…sorry no photos of me spending money!! I did find a few things for Christmas gifts tho, now to find a safe place to hide them and NOT forget where it is!!!
