For a girl raised in the city who never saw her first cow until she was almost 17, that is so amazing to me. I live in the northernmost region of the state and when you hear about NY shutting down for an inch, that's the city...300 miles from where I live. We have only had school close a couple of days, no delays and we've had a very nasty winter. Some parts of the state get over 300 inches per year due to lake effect from Lake Ontario. Stout of heart - I feel for you, but spring is just around the corner. We actually ate dinner in daylight this evening! Keep warm! I saw NY here and had to comment.
