I'm also amazed at all that milk and milking and just the wrangling you do. I use to dream of being a farmer ... but not any more. Too old!

Way to go on the socks and WOW on the milk. For a girl raised in the city who never saw her first cow until she was almost 17, that is so amazing to me. I am a wanna be farmer at heart and hopefully someday when this Army life is over we hope to have a nice little farm somewhere.

Gorgeous socks!

I envy your snow. I know it's probably hard to imagine that. LOL. I'm an native of Michigan, and my most favorite place is the UP. Ok, I'm a troll, I'll admit that. I used to regularly visit the UP but it's been a while. I miss it.

Karen,
Middle Tennessee

PS. I found my way here somehow from Ravelry. :)

I saw NY here and had to comment. I live in the northernmost region of the state and when you hear about NY shutting down for an inch, that's the city...300 miles from where I live. We have only had school close a couple of days, no delays and we've had a very nasty winter. Some parts of the state get over 300 inches per year due to lake effect from Lake Ontario. Stout of heart - I feel for you, but spring is just around the corner. We actually ate dinner in daylight this evening!

Keep warm!

Been there, done (doing) that. Several years ago, we were snowed in for 10 days. Thank God that I stock the household well.
